      Inspiring Images of Gay Pride

PhotosCTA Some of the most powerful moments in history have been captured in still photography. They don't have to be the kind of pictures you find in major publications—they can be simple photos, taken by regular people, that show someone's life at that moment in an incredible and intimate way.
This is especially true for photos capturing the gay rights movement. From classic shots of protesters to revelers in the streets, they capture our time and let others understand our story. This is why we've been asking you to send your Gay Pride photos to Gay.com, so that people across the globe can see how Pride is celebrated in your community. For those of us in big cities it's fun to see the similarities, but for the young people living in small towns it lets them see that there are other people like them, and that there is a future outside of their local environments
Below is a magnificent series of images that were put together on a YouTube video in honor of the Stonewall Riot's 40th anniversary. Check it out, then gather your friends and collect photos from the Pride celebrations you've attended this year.
Send us your Gay Pride photos and upload videos from your phone! You could be featured in our Gay Pride Gallery.
